Character and moral values are not a separate subject in Global Classroom Curricula, but are interwoven in a variety of ways. Some of these are:
- Story As Metaphor
- Drama and Roleplays
- Conversation, Discussion and Debate used to cue conscience, discuss choices and consequences.
- Writing exercises
- Stories are used as a metaphor for a value.
- Choices And Consequences

We can avoid teaching children to do wrong in the classroom
Global Classroom’s ethic of ‘Compete with Yourself’ is part of our moral education. Our curricula is designed so that cheating is unlikely and normally unprofitable. We realize that years of cheating in the classroom (which has become somewhat common) will produce a young adult who may have problems with honesty in both business and personal relationships. From this perspective, moral education in school must begin with the issue of cheating, since classroom cheating is likely to void any moral values taught in any curricula.
