Thematic work integrates the use of music, drama, dance, nature, arts and crafts. For example, children grow potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, seasonal flowers, etc. and go on field trips once a month. They also have occasional class parties including cooking and table setting sessions. For a recent study of people who help us, people from several professions were invited to the school itself. This experience then culminated in a play on people who help us. To develop concentration 22 different art forms are taught including clay modelling. NURTURE teachers make their own play dough.
